Manipal University and its Placements

Placement opportunities is one of the biggest driving forces for submitting
applications to a college. Students are given a sense of security that they
will be given a job after graduation. There are many job opportunities in the market
but to secure a job in the corporate world on their own is task in itself.

Companies like Accenture, Amazon, Asus, TCS, ITC, Infosys,
Google, JP Morgan, Larsen and Toubro, Microsoft, Oracle India, TATA Motors,
etc. have placement programs with top colleges in India. With the improvement
in economy, there are a lot of jobs in Multinational Companies (MNCs) with these
top companies. There are a lot of jobs but there is also an equal amount of competition.

program is Manipal University in Jaipur (MUJ). The Manipal University Jaipur
fees for the year 2018 for their B.Tech program is Rs. 2,57,750. But the
university also provides merit scholarships to students worth of Rs.3 million.
In January 2017, over 50 companies have participated in the placement for
Manipal University, Jaipur. These companies include Appirio, Amazon, Axis Bank,
Dell, Directi, Gram Power, ICICI Bank, Metacube, Mettl, SAP Lab, Sapient,
Secure Meters, Think and Learn, to name a few. This college provides placements
to Engineering, Management, BBA and B.Com students. The University trains their
students on a corporate level required hard skills and soft skills which in turn
helps students in gaining confidence and skills to appear for the campus
interviews and placements. This training process starts in the final year which
consists of a mock group discussion (GD) and interview session on a regular
basis to prepare them for the placements process. MUJ believes in not being a
placement agency but provide career service and career guidance for students to
launch their careers in the right direction.
MUJ also conducts higher education summits which encourages
students to continue their education in India and Abroad. Leaving the option of
a job or further higher studies open to the student to make. The students are
also given the opportunity to interact with important educators like the Dean
of University of Kansas and Professor Bhuvnesh Pandey from IIM Indore who
provided the students insight on how to improve their career with a job or
further their education in India or Abroad.
